KYLE BLACKMORE

Been fishing for around 25 years, my first time sea fishing when I was around 10 years old and been hooked since I had my first fish with a little 6ft rod from argos which was a flounder.

I was lucky to have chesil beach down the road as my closest beach to catch mackerel with my dad, he wasn't interested at first and can honestly say at a young age I got my dad into fishing also haha.

Joining a club is where I got into learning more, fishing new spots in the South West of England but always my heart my home was Chesil beach, it's like marmite you either love it or hate the place… I absolutely love it, every spot can be different, difficult or an absolute nightmare but doesn't ever put me off it only makes me more determined to achieve what I'm after.

The people I've met along the way, on my journey and what I've achieved have all helped me who I am now they all know who they are, there's such a long list of names some I've got mates for life and have the best times out and memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life… they all deserve a praise from me so all that I've fished with… I love you all you've made me the angler I am today

DANNY LOGAN

A bit about Danny

He lives on the north east coast and has fished since he was a young lad.

“ my first ever trip fishing was when I was around 10/11 fishing from a boat from North Shields docks and ever since then I’ve been hooked on the hobby most of my childhood was spent down the local quay fishing for codling or basically anything I could catch”

Danny has been to northern Norway to hunt for the big fish resulting in a few monsters with a whopping 34lb 8oz cod to his belt and a few other species including halibut , shore ling , haddock

“ my most memorable moment in Norway was pulling in that cod after losing a monster on the previous cast it made up for the lost fish just seeing it break the surface was a great feeling but all in all Norway it self is such a beautiful place highly recommend you all add it to your bucket list “

He likes to spend his winters on his local grounds targeting the cod but soon as the spring comes he travels mainly to Scotland and spends his time up there targeting the rays and hounds skate and spur

“ although winter time has to be one of my favourite seasons as it means the fishing is on my doorstep and the thrill of chasing cod in the big north easterly seas gets me a little excited I do also have a soft spot for the summer species with the smooth hound only a few hrs drive for me makes my fishing a little easier when it’s on my doorstep my current shore uk pb cod is 12lb 1 oz”

“ I’ve tried a lot of venues up Scotland searching for a common shore skate and only this year did I find one using the kentaro 8/0 short shank hook I managed to find my very own behemoth at 113lb male perfectly hooked and easily released it was a awesome trip and one I’d like to repeat “

Danny spends a lot of time travelling the country up and down and is always up for an adventure as long as it involves fishing he’s a happy lad

Danny first started using seaglo’s Seaslime and since then has progressed with seaglo using all of our products and has had some impressive catches with seaglo terminal tackle

Most of Danny’s fishing content is available to view on instagram @instant.fisherman feel free to add him to your contacts

ALLAN F SLOSS

Allan lives in the central belt of Scotland , he has been fishing from a young boy who learned the sport from his father with weekly fishing trips after school fishing the harbours around north Ayrshire and has been in love with the hobby ever since

Allan has been mainly shore fishing around west coast of Scotland and down along the south coast since his late teens targeting spurdogs , thornback rays and common skate until  spring arrives and hounds tope and huss become the main targets with bass flounder plaice and other species also being hooked , with the odd trip further south targeting blondes spottys etc

Allan has also been to Norway in the far north at lofoten where they had several species including wolffish haddock herring cod coalie and halibut into mid teens and held the camp record for haddock

Allan now does a mix of boat and shore fishing mainly targeting the above species using a variety of the seaglo hooks , swivels , glow beads and sticks and other terminal tackle

Which has landed some lovely skate tope spurs rays huss hounds and bass plus loads mini species
